Welcome to Hello People Solutions and thank you for taking the time to visit our page. I’m Amanda, the owner of our supportive, pragmatic HR consultancy business. My life is never dull – a footy mad family of five (two children and a husband) , and not to forget our loveable Cockapoo call Bella – yes I do call my fur baby the baby of the family!
After several years of climbing the corporate ladder, I decided it was time for a change – I wanted to give something back as not all businesses require a permanent HR function and lets be honest, the cost of hiring an internal HR team can be expensive, especially if you don’t get it quite right! We are different to traditional HR consultancies – we are not text book driven, its all about commerciality and understanding your pain to provide the right solution for your business. Basically, we become your p/t HR team for a fraction of the cost. If you ask our clients, they’d say we are compassionate, honest, pragmatic and provide reassurance so they can breathe a sigh of relief that they are in safe hands.
I have over 20+ years (I am showing my age! … am I able to say that..?) experience working across a range of sectors, and owner-managed businesses, including Professional Services (Accountancy, Legal), Retail, Manufacturing, Not-for-Profit, Engineering, Construction, Tech (to name a few) and we love a challenge! Variety is the spice of life, which is why we love HR!
Ilkeston born and bred, there is nothing that I haven’t seen! Based in Toll Bar House in Ilkeston, myself and my team support clients all over the UK and internationally – including London, Manchester, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Spain, South Africa, India, USA, Candia – to name a few!
